We can't think of a better way to end a summer day than an evening on the lake. For us, evenings on the lake take two different forms: sunset pontoon rides and evening crappie fishing.
Sunset pontoon rides are the perfect way to socialize with friends and family after a fun-filled (or work-filled) day in the sun. An evening cruise around the lake allows us to unwind with our loved ones and admire the beauty of Little Mantrap Lake. We often see and hear the loons on the lake and on occasion see other wildlife like eagles, otters, and deer near the lake.
Some nights an evening fishing on the lake is just what we need! There is something so relaxing and peaceful about fishing in the calm waters and sunset sky. We enjoy crappie fishing, but we are pleased when anything is biting. We don't fish as often as we'd like, but we enjoy being disconnected.
