Reservations are taken throughout the year.
The reservation desk is open until 9 pm during the summer months, 8 pm during the off-season (Sept to May).

Early Season Dates: May 26 - June 10

Late Season Dates: Aug. 19 - Oct. 1

Fall Hunting and Colors

We are open after Labor Day. Between Labor Day and our closing date (October 1st) our lodge hours and store supplies are limited, along with our minnow supply. Leeches and crawlers will be available. The fall colors are usually at their peak from the second week of September through the end of the month, don't miss this splendid show. Mid week or weekend stays are welcome in the fall (3 night minimum).

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES
Weekly check-in time is after 3:00 p.m., check-out is 9:00 a.m. We ask all guests to follow these times as we need 9-3 to prepare the resort for guests. Thank you. Please no early check-ins.

If arriving later than 5 p.m. on weekly stays, please notify us in advance. Weekly or weekend arrivals during early or late season stays MUST be before 9 p.m. The lodge/office closes at those times. For weekend stays during early or late season, check-in time is 1 p.m., and check-out time is 12pm noon.

PAYMENT METHODS
Cash, MC/VISA or Checks (in state) are accepted.
Please note all prices are subject to MN state sales tax of 7.3785%.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations may be made up to 358 days in advance on a first come, first served basis.

Repeat "standing reservations" are taken if possible. This means you get the same cabin for the same week (dates may vary slightly) each year. You are allowed "one" skip year within a 5 year period without losing your standing reservation.

DEPOSITS: Deposits are required for reservations for the following year when checking out from your stay at Little Norway Resort.

1. For those checking out in person: $200 is due upon checkout and $200 is due on or before January 10th for a total of $400 deposit per unit/cabin.
2. For reservations not made in person or after the resort closes October 1st, a deposit of $400 is required per unit/cabin.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. If you cancel on or before January 10th a full refund is received, less a $50 service fee.
2. If you cancel after January 10th, 50% of the deposit is refunded IF we re-rent the canceled reservation. If we do not re-rent the cabin, 25% of the deposit is refunded ($300 is forfeited).
3. Reservations are deemed final after April 15th. If you cancel, you are responsible for the entire amount of the reservation unless the cabin is re-rented. IF the cabin is re-rented, 50% of the deposit is refunded.
4. Refunds for cancellations after January 10th will be refunded by September 15th.

If you need to cancel your reservation, the sooner we know the better chance we have of re-renting the cabin. Families make vacation plans early and very few look for cabins after April.

Parking Policy
Due to limited space there are ONLY 2 parking spaces per cabin. Additional parking is available adjacent to the resort grounds. Please inquire at the lodge.

Smoking Policy
We ask all to refrain from smoking inside the cabins and lodge, ALL CABINS ARE NON-SMOKING. Smoking is allowed outside on the cabin decks and resort grounds.

ATV Policy
No ATV riding into or within resort grounds.

Laundry
Little Norway Resort provides our guests with a coin operated laundry area with 4 washers and 4 dryers.

Pet Policy

• Please notify the office if you have a pet
• Pets are allowed in some cabins, maximum of two pets per cabin
• Pet size limit is 50lbs.
• Pets must be on a leash at all times
• Pets must NOT be left alone in cabins for more than a short period of time
• Pets must be kept in Porta Kennels when left alone
• Pets must be picked up after
• Pets are NOT allowed on furniture, beds, blankets, etc. at any time
• Barking dogs will NOT be tolerated!
• Pets are NOT allowed on the swim beach or in the swim area
• You are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by your pet (this may be charged to your credit card, if extra cleaning is needed).
