Open May through September, we are a family and fishing resort located just 2 miles south of Itasca State Park and 16 miles north of Park Rapids, Minnesota . We are nestled on the north shore of Little Mantrap Lake on a quiet peninsula. Little Mantrap Lake is an excellent fishing lake and its crystal clear waters are a nature lover's delight. Listen to the loons call, watch the sun set with the eagles flying overhead and you'll soon see why so many families make Little Norway their personal vacation destination.
Choose from several types of 2-3 bedroom cabins that can accommodate up to 8 people. All cabins have an excellent view of the lake and are only a few feet from the shoreline.
From a lodge that houses a small convenience store and arcade to our beach and playground, your family will have all the amenities for a comfortable and fun-filled vacation. Don't forget to check out our rental boats and pontoons as well.
Little Norway Resort starts its 48th year in 2024 hosted by The Brandons with help from friends and family. The Brandons are the second owners of the resort formerly known as Camp Lloyd from 1950-1975.
